The design of my ceramic art can be defined as following the tradition of the Bauhaus, the ceramics department of which was, temporarily, headed by my father, Otto Lindig.
For me, the there and then established postulations of functionality and formal austerity are still valid.
In my work I am always interested in the singular piece - in the borderland between sculpture and usability.
